Meet Alexa; Flighty, flirty and lots of fun. A beautician by day, by night she works a pole .
Strong in mind and body, no one messes with this sharp tongued girl, and no one can look away when she’s strutting her stuff.
Johnny Murphy is a handsome Dubliner with a knicker-dropping accent, and bundles of charm. He’s also the brother of Tash’s boyfriend, James.
Like all good stories, it begins in the pub, but can drunken flirting lead to something else?
Will they be a match made in heaven? Or will the past tear them apart?
I'm not quite sure where to start with this review so I may find myself rambling in to oblivion, please bear with me I will eventually get to my point.
I LOVED Tash and I wondered how Kelsey could live up to the expectations of book one but oh my gosh she has just blown them out of the water. Alexa is a new favourite of mine, she's strong and powerful, and will let nothing bar herself stand in her way of where she wants her own life to take her. She is everything and more, I wish I could be her.
In this story we read Alexa and Johnny's story and wowzers its a story that needs to be told. I never thought that a novella would grip and entice me so much. Although a hefty novella it is! I didn't want their journey to stop and I'm sure it won’t. Kelsey had me gripped from the first page and maintained that through the hours in which I devoured this book. Every reader can relate to these women and many of us will remember times sat together with our bff's drinking wine and spilling the beans about our antics in the bedroom! Kelsey has hit the nail on the head with this series of novellas, they’re a refreshing read in an already over saturated market. This author is going in my little black book.... I may just stalk her *wink wink*
Kelsey's writing has come on so far in such a short period of time, in my eyes her talent is by far up there with the big league. She has astounded me with her first two books and I just KNOW she has so much more to give. Her sex scenes are among some of the best I have read. She isn't afraid to push your boundaries as a reader and take you on a journey of self-discovery (I totally want to try pole dancing now!).
Kelsey's writing is so amazing that she makes you feel like one of the ‘girls’. It’s as though you know every inch of them. In my eyes it takes a talented writer to make you feel compassion on a personal level with the characters and Kelsey does just this. I need Shelby like YESTERDAY. Get writing woman! I need more Girls Breaking The Rules.
This is one up and coming writer with an eye for detail and making fiction a reality.
