Morgan Parker

Synopsis

HopeMorgan Barker, the lead character of Non Friction and brilliant author of Our Story, has all but recovered from the heartache caused by Emma. But when his company's accounting firm sends Hope to inquire about some suspicious account practices, Morgan is reminded of the beautiful story he created. He is reminded because Hope has a different version of Our Story than the unpublished, never-seen-before version that Morgan created. Read more about Olivia and Oliver's ongoing and difficult love affair, their secret moments and the struggle that kept them apart for so long.

The Review

I think I've found a wonderful author in Morgan Parker who has shown me that he has so much diversity in his writing, his first book I loved because of the witt of the characters, this time I love it for a whole different reason. Hope was romantic, passionate and emotional.

Hope brings it back to basics the beauty of falling in love and fighting for the one who makes you feel like time could stop and you wouldn't even notice. I felt a connection with this book and have held on to that connection. Hope is a story within a story, the journey of Oliver and Olivia who we were introduced to in Non-Friction, it really is a work of art!

I loved Hope she had spunk and she wasn't afraid to tell it how it was! She is feisty something I love in my female characters. I want to know more about her and whether Morgan really does fight for Emma.

I have to say Morgan, the only thing I missed was "Morgans" quick Witt and take on life. However I shall let you off as he was a broken man, I can't wait to move on to sick day I just wish there were more hours in the day!

Thank you to Kelsey from Kelsey's Korner Blog for introducing me to such a wonderful book by an author who isn't afraid to write with realism. Everyone look up Morgan Parker you can not go wrong with his work.
